Admin
The Giants are expected to sign right-hander Bryan Morris to a minor league contract. New Giants closer Mark Melancon said in his introductory press conference Monday that he had talked to Morris about playing with the Giants and general manager Bobby Evans later confirmed that he'll be in camp with a non-roster invitee assuming there are no hiccups. He presumably still needs to pass a physical. The 29-year-old posted a 3.06 ERA in 24 appearances with the Marlins in 2016 before undergoing surgery in June to repair a herniated lumbar disk.
