Maybe Sele was very nice to Gammons and his family when Sele was being an overrated prospect, that never lived up to the hype when he was with Gammons' beloved Red Sox. One would think that Gammons would figure out that it's a non-story when E!SPN isn't making anything of it, when it's a story about a former Red Sox player, that involves a team owned by Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan, that gives them a chance to bash the Marlins again...while they can have another opportunity tell everyone how Boston and NYC are the greatest cities in the world, which will then give them their lead to talk about Tom Brady.
