October 11, 20187 yr I’ve loved following Peter Gammons for a very long time but unfortunately he has lost his magic. It’s sad to say but it’s time for him to retire...
October 11, 20187 yr Would you say things have gotten serious between you and you? propose at the ballpark!
October 11, 20187 yr I’ve loved following Peter Gammons for a very long time but unfortunately he has lost his magic He's never been a magician. You must be thinking of somebody else.
October 11, 20187 yr I actually recall Gammons being the kindest media personality towards the Marlins in the past. That must have changed when Jeter took over and Gammons' Boston biases took over. So he's a Red Sox guy and hates Yankee ?
October 12, 20187 yr So he's a Red Sox guy and hates Yankee ? He covered the Red Sox for The Boston Globe for quite some time. I will say, though, that when it comes to MLB analysts, Gammons has always been one of the best. I always enjoyed listening to him during his time with ESPN.
October 12, 20187 yr Author I will say, though, that when it comes to MLB analysts, Gammons has always been one of the best. I agree and this is why these recent posts are so odd coming from him.

January 17, 20197 yr Author Gammons. You posted the tweet. It's really hard not to downvote this post.

So he resigned from his assistant scout job of the Marlins !? I don't believe it, only Jeter fired the employee and never the employee resigned from the Marlins.
January 18, 20197 yr I think Gammons know the reason he requested this release, right ?
January 18, 20197 yr Why is it even news that a scout has decided to change jobs? I assume this happens often.
January 18, 20197 yr Why is it even news that a scout has decided to change jobs? I assume this happens often. BECAUSE #WhoDoesn'tWantToFuckJeter amirite?
January 18, 20197 yr Author Why is it even news that a scout has decided to change jobs? I assume this happens often. Because Marlins. That's why.
January 18, 20197 yr I can't wait for the day that Gammons tweets "Marlins make mistake of letting esteemed front office icon Mike Hill go. Another unsurprising move." I may celebrate that day. Not as much as when we let Renyel "Ford" Pinto, Kevin Gregg, Vic Darensbourg, Ricky Nolasco or Heath Bell go...but it will be slightly more than when we let Hanley Ramirez, Chris Aguila, Gaby Sanchez, Jeremy Hermida, Scott Olsen, and Junior Felix go.

January 18, 20197 yr "Marlins release perennial MVP candidate and gold glover Derek Dietrich. Not surprising with that team." Dietrich was never in the running for MVP
