October 4, 20196 yr Nothing against Kotsay himself but I'm still not convinced with this trend of hiring inexperienced young guys as managers. Yes a few have done well but guys like Gabe Kapler keep telling me it's not a great idea.

Yes a few have done well but guys like Gabe Kapler keep telling me it's not a great idea. Cora and Boone did pretty well. Dave Roberts has done well. Kevin Cash, too! Yes, they have good teams to work with. But inexperienced doesn't mean bad. Kapler isn't bad, either, he just has no pitchers to work with outside of Nola.
