Mets owe him $37.6M through 2023 and will eat all of that minus the pro-rated $700k minimum salary.  Good grief, to think they traded Kelenic for this turd.

Also, the Mets GM at the time of the trade with the Mariners was actually Cano’s agent when he signed the deal with Seattle in the first place. Something about that just seems wrong.

To be fair, while he’s still young, Kelenic has looked like a turd too.
