January 2, 200422 yr I was watching the history channel last night and I fell asleep to the sounds of a bunch of guys talking about revelations and the end of the world. I was really disturbed when I woke up and I couldn't get back to sleep. I put the history channel back on and they were talking about the "bible codes." They were predicting all of these things that really occurred and the world coming to an end in the year 2012. The guy there said, "The odds of these words coming together randomly a 1 out of 300,000." Man was I deeply disturbed. If these predictions were really being made, then these guys did get some divine help, thus the God of the old testament is real, and that scares the hell out of me. I had a lot of trouble sleeping because I took what I listened to very seriously. This morning I did a quick search on google and found this website: http://cs.anu.edu.au/~bdm/dilugim/torah.html What a relief! This made me feel a lot better, with the world not coming to an end and the evil God of the old testament and all. I just had to share this, thank you for your time.
January 2, 200422 yr Nobody knows when/if the world is going to end. It cracks me up when I hear people say, "The world is going to end in the year 2130" (that's an example).
January 3, 200422 yr fact is the Bible codes are real. its just a matter of finding them.. even tho they have no order of the words.. it gives an idea tho of what will happen. the Bible codes have been right in the past. its all real so get over taht.

January 3, 200422 yr but other codes are in it.. ex 911, even al gore was in it. i saw a piece where it said al gore then it said maybe next to it. lots of different codes. it was even accurate with earthquakes an d stuff

To me, it's like looking at the stars - you can "connect the dots" to make an image of anything you want out of them, even if they are not really supposed to be in that image. Likewise, you make these bogus "patterns" to spell whatever you want from the Bible. I believe the scriptures that say he'll come "like a thief in the night", and there is no way to know.
January 3, 200422 yr but its not that part of predicting. Bible codes predict other stuff like natural disasters and wars etc. not the comming of the Lord.
January 3, 200422 yr I think it's hysterical that everyone saw the codes AFTER the disasters happened. Where are all those people who warn us before the big chill? indeed
