January 4, 200422 yr Author The Nfl Draft order has been posted for a long time now. its ok, we are using this are a base for the draft chatter that some of us draftnicks do so often :thumbup D. Hall > C Gamble and if the Bengals get Dansby you will be very happy Hugg, that kid can play.

Hall > C Gamble and if the Bengals get Dansby you will be very happy Hugg, that kid can play. I definitely agree with Hall over Gamble, but there's going to be a groundswell for the Bengals to pick Gamble, unless he just bombs in workouts. The Bengals haven't had an impact Buckeye in a long time...and, sadly, that does help them in a lot of areas. I want Will Poole anyway. And yes, Karlos Dansby is my hope on top of hope, but I think he'll get picked before 17. If we go linebacker, we need a middle more anyway, and there's no one really there (unless Vilma drops). They're gonna move Kevin Hardy back to the outside (thank god).
January 4, 200422 yr Author i watched hardy all season last year and he seemed solid as an outside LB. Gamble is still raw as a DB so it all depends on the pure talent he shows at the combine but it would be hard to pass on Hall's 4.15 40 YES THATS 4.15 40 for Gamble just because hes home town.

If he runs anything close to that at the combine in front of scouts, he won't be there at 17 anyway.
January 4, 200422 yr Author Hall is also an incredible PR and that does make a difference to teams when it comes to the draft. Gamble should not go in the top 15
January 4, 200422 yr the falcons need recieving and Defense.. Roy Williams, Kellen Winslow (WR?), or Sean Taylor here they come.
January 5, 200422 yr D. Hall > C Gamble :lol DeAngelo Hall=extremely overrated and Gamble has the size over him. Did you watch that UM vs. OSU game last year? Gamble shut down Andre Johnson. And Dante Hall contributed to that 52 points Va Tech gave up to mighty Cal in the insight bowl. and if the Bengals get Dansby you will be very happy Hugg, that kid can play. I like Dansby, the kid is very underrated. As for the Cowboys, I want Chris Perry or Kevin Jones. Oh, and whoever takes Michael "The Burner" Turner in the late 2nd or early 3rd round of the draft is going to get a very good ballplayer. 6'0 225 with 4.4 speed, above average power, and good hands, he's a good ballplayer, although of course I say that with bias considering how much I got to see him play.
January 5, 200422 yr Author D. Hall > C Gamble im just saying as a pro prospect Hall is a better player. Gamble is good but dont forget that he hasnt been a DB for that long and you can not teach the PR skills and pure speed of Deangelo Hall. he ran a 4.15 at a school workout. :thumbup
January 5, 200422 yr I want to see this 4.15 at the combine, if thats true, he'll be a high to mid 1st rounder just off of speed. Because Randy Moss, Michael Bennett, Champ Bailey, and Ahman Green have recorded the fastest 40 yard dashes in the history of the Combine. Moss ran it at 4.17, Bennett at 4.19, Bailey at 4.21, and Green at 4.24.
January 5, 200422 yr Roy Williams, Kellen Winslow (WR?), or Sean Taylor here they come. While his talent is there, Winslow's attitude will severly drop him in the draft. Also, Ben Troupe could be the first TE (I think he is in there this year). He is just slightly less talented than Winslow and has all the intangibles of a team player that Winslow lacks. Sean Taylor is going to the Falcons if he is there. If not they'll probably draft another toy for Mike, meaning either of the Williams Boys.

Gamble is good but dont forget that he hasnt been a DB for that long and you can not teach the PR skills and pure speed of Deangelo Hall. he ran a 4.15 at a school workout. :thumbup I don't know, I just like Gamble's skills better than Hall's, he's taller, and everybody knows that Va Tech's 40 is BS. A 4.15 at Va Tech=a 4.35 at the Combine, so in reality, I would say Gamble is just as fast as Hall. And the fact that Gamble hasn't been a d back that long means he is only going to get better.

Because I don't believe it, i'm pretty sure Moss and Bennett were in the 4.2's and that Bailey and Green were in the 4.3's. Plus, I think the fastest 40 in combine history was a 4.19 run by Deion Sanders. So if you have a link to prove these facts, I would appreciate seeing it.
January 5, 200422 yr Vince Wilfork and Sean Taylor are both going to make several pro bowls and be stud players in the NFL. If they both don't go in the top 10, there is something seriously wrong with NFL GM's.
January 5, 200422 yr Author from what i understand the scouts dont give out the info from the combine. but they have said Deion was the fastest player to ever come through...
January 5, 200422 yr Everybody at Ohio State is going to be saying "Chris Gamble Who"? when Ted Ginn Jr. arrives on campus.
January 5, 200422 yr a few years back, i had a photo copy of news and notes from the Combine.... i sat next to RB Levron Williams in class and he showed me all this neat stuff... so therefore, i am better than you all
January 5, 200422 yr a few years back, i had a photo copy of news and notes from the Combine.... i sat next to RB Levron Williams in class and he showed me all this neat stuff... so therefore, i am better than you all I know Michael "The Burner" Turner and have talked football with him on several occassions, and he is far better than Levron Williams. Therefore I am better than you.
January 5, 200422 yr im not arguing that..... but i had top secret papers of course i lost them when i moved after freshman year :banghead
January 5, 200422 yr Wilfork won't be top ten. He is a stud, not many know that better than myself, but the fact is that not many will want to draft him in the Top 10 when they can fill bigger needs with similar studs. My boy Sean will be the first Cane gone, however. And I still don't think the Chargers will hold steady on #1. Whoever takes it will draft Eli unless they have a S.T.U.D. already at QB. But if the Dolphins land #1, take Big Ben! Please! I think he will have a better pro career than Manning, and he might fit this team more. Call me crazy, but that is just what I think.
January 5, 200422 yr Author your both full of yourselves... Maggs i bet you right now. i will use a sox avatar for the week after the draft if Gamble goes before Hall. if its the other way you use a Marlins logo for the week. Deal?

Maggs i bet you right now. i will use a sox avatar for the week after the draft if Gamble goes before Hall. if its the other way you use a Marlins logo for the week. Deal? Why would I make that deal? Hall WILL be drafted before Gamble, even though Gamble is going to be a better NFL defensive back.

Your not crazy, Big Ben will be a better NFL QB than Eli, this is a fact of life. I also doubt Wilfork will go top 10, which is crazy, because he's a stud D tackle who has pretty good speed for his postion and is HUGE at 350+ pounds. Whoever gets Wilfork will have a HUGE steal.
January 5, 200422 yr Author so now your backing down :lol Gamble will not be a better pro. you know how i feel about V Tech ( i hate them ) but i know talented players when i see them Gamble is a very good player but Hall is better in more areas. but its all opinions...
