Michael clayton is really good but would like Miami to get a QB

agreed. eli and big ben are good enough to start this year. i'm hoping losman is good enough, too. free agency looks awful. Well I think miami should really try to go for it this year.

Go after Losman or Rivers but if they don't want to then get Michael Clayton.

Also why not go after Keyshawn and if Brad Johnson is cut go after him.

Johnson not cut then maybe Brunell who I don't like very much.

I don't really care if they don't get a QB in FA but if they do then they don't really have to draft a QB.

Also need help on the offensive line big time.

Defense is just fine.

WIN ONE FOR MARINO. Keyshawn would be perfect for Miami.

 

He is a possesion receiver, who doesn't run deep routes, but runs great short routes and holds onto the ball. Him and Williams together sounds good. And the best part is that they won't be able to beat on the Chargers next year! :cool

I know Bob Sanders would be a great landing in the 2nd or 3rd round.

 

My Dad bleeds Hawkeye Black & Gold like I bleed Green and Gold and he's telling me the same thing, that Sanders is the guy I want to be the SS in the future and that I can land him in the 2nd-3rd round, and that we can get a solid Pass Rushing DE in the 1st round.

 

 

 

But I tell you what, I'd almost like to see Chad Clifton go, and the Packers sign Donovin Darius or John Lynch and draft a Bob Sanders-type guy in the 2nd or 3rd.

 

But there has been so much speculation about the Packers off season my heads been spinning.

Let's make some things clear, Peyton Manning isn't coming to Miami. You guys aren't trading up and drafting Big Ben unless by some stroke of luck, the Patriots have control of this division locked up for a few years, and Dan Marino still has NO experience in player personnel.

Thank God! Somebody finally says what I've tried to say millions of times before. But Maggs watch how you say stuff like that because they all resent me for saying stuff like that now.

What do you expect....the Dolphin fans are just being myopic homers, like they were all year long.

 

 

The Dolphins have a decent defense.

 

 

The offense, especially the line and quarterback position suck. No team wins without at least one of those being solid.

I know.

 

But still.

 

It's okay if they speculate about trading up in the Draft. But not trading up as high as Top 10! What are they gonna give up for that? Ricky? Taylor? Surtain? Maybe a Defensive Player and their 1st rounder?

 

And landing Peyton in FA, that'll happen when the Bears and Packers agree to trade Brett Favre for Brian Urlacher.

 

Nothing's wrong with speculating about their/your team in a REALISTIC manner.

look if peyton becomes a dolphin due to free agency, i owe every dolphin fan a ticket to the game of their choice next year.

last i checked, a 14 year old and pubes suggested we try to get peyton. everyone else called them idiots.

 

and how many people do you see talking about trading to the top 10, phlub? believe it or not, most dolphins fans are over the age of 13 and understand what a top 10 pick costs.

A dream would be that miami trades for a really high pick and get manning or rothlisberger.

Not gonna happen though.

Get Phillip Rivers than because he is really good and he has a strong arm.

Also why not go after keyshawn or even better terrell owens if we have the money to do so.

I could see you guys going after Losman, he will be great. He has one of the best raw arms in football, and is a great scrambler too (not Vick, more like Flutie in terms of scrambling). The only knock on him is that he has some mechanical issues that can be worked out, a la David Carr.
