umm. yah. Thats why I made the post. Consolation. Hey, if we are gonna get our asses whooped by Iowa, I need some sort of consolation. That, and Furman will win the national championship next year.

LSU Beat Oklahoma

Florida Best LSU

Miami Beat Florida

Miami = National Champs?

;)

Ok how about this.

Northern Illinois beat Maryland

Maryland crushed West Virginia

West Virginia almost and should have won at the Orange Bowl against Miami

This means 2 things:

1. Northern Illinois would have won at Miami by a significant amount of points.

2. Northern Illinois should have been National Champs according to the logic I quoted.

:thumbup :whistle

But West Virginia Didnt Beat Miami so by your Logic Northern Illinois would have lost to Miami.

No, but West Virginia stayed within 1 of Miami, and got Killed by a much better Maryland team, who lost to Northern Illinois. Therefore, both Maryland and Northern Illinois are much better than West Virginia, who only lost by 1 to Miami, and therefore, they would both beat Miami.

But FSU Beat Marland by 25 Points

and Miami beat FSU

Meh.... w/o rain in game 1 and Xavier Beitia's suckiness in game 2, FSU would have beat Miami twice.

And that was a lucky 3 touchdown victory FSU had over Maryland.

:p

eh.... w/o rain in game 1 and Xavier Beitia's suckiness in game 2, FSU would have beat Miami twice

Whatever helps you sleep at night, chief.
