January 6, 200422 yr I always see gratuity on a menu in restaurants. If you pay the gratitude, do you still have to tip? I know they automatically charge gratuity when you have 6 people or more.
January 6, 200422 yr This is my rule: When in doubt, do it. I mean, if you're not supposed to tip and you do, so what? But, if you are supposed to tip and you don't, you're an ass.

I usually tip 20%, by rule. I hate people, so I can't imagine having to wait on them all day. Working the front desk at a hotel is bad enough (where you get stuff like people calling to complain about the thunder and asking if I can do anything about it...seriously).
