2nd straight day where X steals his way into scoring position in the 1st with no outs and we strand him...

doesn't help much our two hottest hitters are pushed down in the lineup

But we are facing a lefty! (who apparently gives up more hits to lefty batters and our one lefty, Stowers is not only on fire, but also has reverse splits!)

wait, now i'm confused are you saying both guys have reverse splits so stowers should be down further lol

I mean normally lefty pitchers do well vs lefty batters. This year Sears has struggled vs lefty hitters and Stowers has done well vs lefty pitchers.

always hard to tell from gamecast but lemme guess, that fly out to center by Stowers would have scored X who would have been on 3rd had Stowers been batting 3rd like he should have been.

This is the first start since April 27th of last year, that Cabrera has allowed no walks through 4 innings. He walked 2 and surrendered a homer in the 5th inning of that game.

Eddie has never gone more than 5 innings without walking a batter.

He has only gone more than 4 without a walk the one time.

And what do you know. The hot guys who were pushed down in the order get it done to tie the game!

I'm tired of our coach punishing the best looking dudes on the team

Now that Johnny Pereda is back in Miami I just rememberd that he was pitching earlier this year and gave up a hit to a Cubs pitcher who was batting late in that game.

I want to say that the pitcher was Colin Rea.

It was a strikeout actually.
