May 11, 20251 yr Shane Smith is a good pitcher. He was stuck behind a really deep rotation at Wake Forest and didn't get drafted. White Sox made a nice pick up getting him in the rule 5 draft. Don't get why the Brewers left him exposed. Demonstrated the importance of scouting.

That's part of the problem though. He's too unserious. He needs to have a chip on his shoulder. The biggest problem could be that he's just a low IQ guy. I base that on his answers from interviews. Either way, he's had plenty of chances here.
