They had the best record in the Majors coming into this series. They have been especially strong at home.

They hadn't lost at home since June 29th until we rolled in.

We were a bit agressive in that inning. First pitch swinging got us the lead, but Woodruff is really good. Don't want him to settle in and then have a low pitch count.

Talkin' Baseball would rather post about some computer generated player hitting a solo homer for the worst team in the Majors than post something about the Marlins.

Nice play by Myers! The Brewer fans have no idea what a homer off the bat looks like apparently.

That very nearly was. lol.

I thought Pauley had that off the bat but I'll take a double.

Talkin' Baseball really dislikes talking about the Marlins this weekend, I guess. Just went through their feed this weekend and the only things that come close to Marlins highlights were Gus's double in game 1 (which was really more of a highlight for the CF, Perkins) and Chourio striking out by swinging at a pitch that hit him (which they framed from Chourio's perspective on the tweet). Considering the Marlins are in a good spot to sweep the best team in the NL, I would think that they would mention us a couple of times. Especially since they noted this series on Friday as one of the daily headlines.

It's a Yankees-fan run page. Don't worry about it.

What is funny is that they had no problem with posting about Heriberto's inssurance homer that he hit in Arizona at the beginning of the hot streak. But once it had gone long enough to where it went from nice hot streak to legit chance to get back in the Wild Card race, crickets.
