I like Ekness, and I think he has a future in our pen. But, if you're trying to win, Philips should be pitching in this spot.

Cut down on his strikeouts. He's not Caissie bad but he's not far behind. He's been better last couple weeks and if he keeps improving, we will see him soon.

I don't have a problem with it even if it blows up. Put the kid in a high leverage situation and see what he has got.

The bigger issue is not scoring at all against a weak Oriole bullpen.

I’m fine with Ekness here too but @Rydawg point about them not using in high leverage is also very true and ridiculous
