Bullpen

Are the marlins going to sign some body or what.

Are there any lefties left?

C'mon guys make a move.

Also John Burkett is available why not him?

or the crime dog.

Just get somebody guys c'mon. :confused

I would think the Marlins would want to sign someone else for the bullpen, but they don't seem in a hurry to. They sound like they're pretty happy with the team as it is now.

Keep in mind that there aren't a lot of roster spots available. If we add someone to the big league roster right now we might lose some of our younger talent. They may be waiting for spring training to end to see what is left out there and not risk losing someone who'll help us win in 2 or 3 years versus right now.

What kind of younger talent are you talking about? Are you talking about "young" guys like Cabs and Willis, who wouldn't lose their roster spot no matter who was signed, or "young" guys like Hooper and Valdez, who can always be sent to AAA? We wouldn't be losing them either way.

I think the Marlins will sign a Relief Pitcher this off season. There has been numerous articles about Beinfest saying that he is looking for relief pitching first.
