January 19, 200422 yr Jeff Rimer just reported that Horton could be back in the lineup in as soon as three weeks! Surgery is on hold for the moment and they are going to try rehab! GREAT NEWS!
January 20, 200422 yr Author Unfortunately very little of this matters, unless we play better. We are playing very well right now FutureGM.
January 20, 200422 yr I thought your gonna talk about the Carolina Panthers. Instead your talking about the Florida Panthers.

January 20, 200422 yr I personally dont care how well their record had been last 10 or so games, if they dont play w/ consistant efforts and win, then none of that matters really. Theyre goal is to make the playoffs, and if they continue to blow leads and be sloppy on the ice then i doubt theyll make it far this year anyways. Luongo though is the biggest bright spot in this team. I KNOW this team has so much potential either way, and if they were to play less sloppy and get on their game w/ luongo behind the net this team could make it quite far this year.

January 20, 200422 yr the panthers cant go anywhere until they have some defense thank god luongos a gr goalie; he faces over 40 shots some nights...hes keeping the panthers in the hunt

Let me ask you a question, I am not trying to be mean, but can you understand hockey? The Panthers fundamentally have been playing better. It may not show in their record but if Huselius could get his ass going as well as Hagman, they are a very formidable team if that happens. Their defense is young and will only get better.

If you can find one player on the Carolina Panthers roster with the name Horton than I will congratulate you for proving me wrong. Its the idiots who don't read everything that say idiotic things.
January 20, 200422 yr Author arent we 5-2-3 in the last 10 games??? 7 points behind first place??? Yea were more like 4-3-1-2 I believe but Audette is going to help the offense very much. And yes we are 7 points behind first place in a division where we have won the majority of our games.

They can make it in the weakest division in the NHL. Especially considering our great record agianst the division. And also that comes with experience. These are what hockey fans like to call GROWING PAINS. Detroit was horrible little more than 10 years ago with a young team and look at what they have done. Atlanta, San Jose, Calgary, the list goes on. All you need is time and leadership to go along with it.
January 21, 200422 yr I have to agree with the earlier statement that we don't have good defense. The last several games we've lost have been because of Luongo having too many shots taken at him. He's a great player, but he can't stop everything. If we can solve this, we'll win many more games.

I am waiting for Duds to get Ryan Smith and or Eric Brewer of the Oilers to help the blueline. Don't be surprised to see Phil Housley come out of retirement to help Florida's young blueliners and help Jay Bouwmeester even more.
