Most people are a lot more tired of Massachuesetts Democrats like Kerry.

 

Plus, Kerry is B-O-R-I-N-G when people like Edwards and Dean bring energy to the table.

 

And btw, I think Dean got WAY too much criticism for his primal yell, even though it was funny. I have no idea why him getting excited means you can't elect him.

I think you're a rare person that distingushes between Massachussets liberals and Vermont liberals. I think most people just lump them all together into Northeast liberals. Now, you do have a point on the charisma thing, but what good is having all that energy when it gets you in trouble like it did Dean? I'll agree with you about Edwards - the guy can energize a crowd without losing it, but Edwards is a lightweight. He might not even get re-elected to the Senate.

That's exactly why Bob Graham needs to be anyone's Vice Pres. The guy's got the national security thing going for him, and he can deliver Florida - which the Dems have to have to beat Bush. you do realize that all gore needed was his home state to win that election.

gore carries tennessee and nobody gives a flying s*** about florida.

if this presidential election is close, we know the following will be true:

 

the democrat will win NY and CA for sure, regardless of who he is.

 

bush will win TX for sure, regardless of who his opponent is.

 

florida is the next biggest state with 25 electoral votes and it's almost guaranteed to be a tossup. that's why it is hands-down the most critical state in the 2004 election.

Unlike Gore, people still like Graham in Florida. Also, Florida is pretty-much a must-win state considering neither Dean nor Kerry is going to get another State in the south unless they are somehow able to motivate the black populace of Mississippi (which I seriously doubt either one could).

Not likely. He's probably couldn't carry North Carolina. All the stuff I've been hearing indicates that if Edwards doesn't become president, he's finished 'cos they're not going to re-elect him in NC.

Edwards couldn't carry SC as part of the ticket. People there don't really like him too much. Guess he has screwed them over so much, he know must go national because in SC he won't get reelection.
