Why not keep the old slogan?
  2. Give Tejera a chance.? I see great things for him this year. Mike Tejera? he's no lefty. he's indeed a LHP. last year he flat out sucked against left handed hitting though, worse than what he usually does. however, he's very good against right handed hitters. Indeed,I am aware he is a lefty however I don't consider him a "true" due to his inability to retire lefty batters. Don't get me wrong though, think he's a fine young pitcher.

  4. http://www.nationalreview.com/york/york200401200904.asp Finishing third in a contest that just a few weeks earlier he had been expected to win handily is surely a setback for the campaign of Howard Dean. But in the long run, Dean's Iowa concession speech, in which he appeared to lose control of himself and began screaming at supporters ? all in front of dozens of television cameras ? may be even more damaging. Dean's speech, delivered at his headquarters in Des Moines, stunned even some observers used to his displays of anger on the campaign trail. And in the days after the caucuses it is sure to spark discussion of Dean's emotional intensity and whether such intensity should be a disqualifying characteristic for a potential president. The speech didn't start badly. Although Dean appeared oddly exuberant after what was an extraordinarily disappointing finish, that might easily be attributed to a politician's desire to put a publicly positive face on bad news. "You know something?" Dean asked his fans. "If you had told us one year ago that we were going to come in third in Iowa, we would have given anything for that." That was a perfectly reasonable gloss for a candidate to put on unfavorable election results. But Dean quickly took on a red-faced, shouting, teeth-baring, air-punching demeanor unlike any of his performances during the campaign. "Not only are we going to New Hampshire," he said, his voice rising. "We're going to South Carolina and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York. And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan. And then we're going to Washington, D.C. to take back the White House." Then he let out a strange, extended, yelp that seemed to come from deep within him: "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Dean Audio

I just finished reading "Perfect I'm Not' by David Wells. I was surprized it's one of the better books I have read in awhile.
  6. most definitely Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz even though I despise most rap music. I only listen to them while joggin, doing my exercises etc...Their music pumps me up.
  7. Perhaps I didn't get the memo (lol) but what is this promotion? Could you please explain what it is and more precisely, what someone has to do to get in on this? Thanks Pay 20bucks! To whom? To the people selling them. Post of the year....Willis#1.
  8. Looks like no one in Martin County is on this board. How many from Collier/Lee/Charlotte Counties are there here? Lee for me. I own a residence in Flamingo Bay which is Lee County. That makes 3 of us.

Champions are built on veteran teams. We don't want to call up another rookie at this point.

Washington He took a theory and gave it life. He was the person that existed that allowed Americans to trust in a strong executive officer so recently after shouting about tyranny. Every act he took set a precedent and he tried to rule as an arbitrator standing above the fray deciding on issues of constitutionality. He set the works in motion.

Although it's manipulative as hell and not for all tastes, my vote goes to "Field Of Dreams." To me, no other movie quite captures the way that baseball can get under a person's skin, sometimes to an unhealthy degree. I should know I actually knew that Moonlight Graham was a real player, and that he appeared in one game for the 1905 Giants without officially batting, before I saw the movie. I liked Major League(The first.) though. It's funny, with some good quotes and moments.BTW is it just me or does Jake Taylor(Tom Berenger.) remind you of Darren "Dutch" Daulton.

Feels good to have the kid back. He won 20 games in 98' that was really impressive. Mabye he can show all the players his ring, that should motivate the bunch.
