FDR and Truman combine to beat The Japanese. Reagan is a major reason why we are not in the Cold War today. Teddy did wonders for the environment. And people say Clinton? This is a sign to the fact that not only is the country uneducated but has the attention span of a flea.

FDR. the man rescued the country from a little thing called the great depression and was president for most of WW2, he would've eventually finished the war off but of course died at the beggining of his FOURTH term. the man did so much including coming up with Social Security, of course its him. Reagan is overrated, and Clinton was a pretty good president, but they cant hold FDR's jock strap

Social Security is going to self implode on us and will cause big time problems. All the government agencies he started? Died during or immediately after the Depression. WW2 took us out of the Depression, and no leader won WW2 (political anyways). Though if any had an influence on the outcome, it was Winston Churchill.

No, I don't say someone is socialist because they are merely left. FDR was socialist beyond repair. Its incredible how far he is socialist.

What did FDR do?

 

Win WW2? WRONG! Who won WW2? General Dwight Eisenhower, General George S. Patton, General McArthur, General Montgomery, and a man named Winston Churchill.

 

Bring us out of the Depression? WRONG! World War 2 brought us out of the Depression. All the jobs it created, dropping unemployment.

 

Social Security? It has caused more problems than it has solved.

 

Reagan, on the other hand, stared the CCCP in the face and won. He gave us the economic policies which led to the economic sucess in the 90's (contrary to the Clinton fans' claims). He cut down unimportant parts of the government that were taking up needless tax payer dollars. He freed us from European-like taxes. Want me to keep going?

that stuff about the USSR is so overrated. the USSR and Eastern Eruope was falling apart anyway. Communism just doesnt work, more than 70 years took its toll on the USSR, and with them falling apart so did the eastern block. that wasnt Reagan that killed it, it was time. Jesse Ventura couldve been president and the eastern block would've still fallen apart.

social security is nesseccarry, what is a 74 year old suppose to do for money if he wasnt a rich man and couldnt save up a big retirement fund? just because future presidents couldnt hanlde it doesnt make it his fault. the Western Europeans can handle all their govt. programs, and we dont have anywhere near the amount of programs they have.

i believe under Reagan we had record unemployment and a huge defecit which i think was a record until daddy Bush and then his son broke it
