For some reason, i cant copy it, you'll have to read it yourselves

P.S.- this for all of baseball so you might want to move it to the MLB section, i wasn't really sure where it went

that's old

it's from January 20th!

Maybe it was already posted, but it's not old sorry and that's another thing you and about three other people always have problems with my posts.

Chill out man.

:) thanks

for clearing that up :D

Even after becoming World Champs for the 2nd time, the Marlins still don't get no respect. We are going to give Philly a run for their money this year. The Braves will finish a distant 3rd. IMO

I thought the article was fairly on the money. The Marlins should be in the playoff hunt (and could make it), but they're no shoe-in. The team will be better at 2 positions (RF and LF), worse at 2-4 positions (1B - definite, C - definite, 3B - I expect a drop-off from Lowell, CF - given Juan Pierre's history I expect a dropoff from him, too), Dontrelle might not last all year in the starting rotation, and the bullpen (as it stands now) is weaker.

They definitely need to pick up someone like Antonio Osuna to help shore-up the bullpen, and hopefully give a small deal to Pedro Astactio or Andy Ashby to see if they can turn things around down here.

Why do you expect a dropoff from Lowell? Every year he has improved his totals and will only get better. And hey, who cares about predictions. They said the Phillies should of had a very good chance at winning the East last year and look what happened...

He even said himself he's not a HR hitter. More doubles, less homers is what I'd expect this year.

shoe-in? Before we start handing out World Series titles to whoever signed the most premier free agents, or giving a trophy out to the most hyped rookie, or awarding teams their playoff spots in January let's play the twenty-five hundred games that decide the matter.
