December 13, 200322 yr Akili was picked OVER McNabb right? Incorrect. Donovan was the #2 pick in the '99 draft, and I know Akili wasn't picked first overall, so no Akili over Donovan, but Akili was still a BIG bust.
December 13, 200322 yr i blocked out that draft :lol nothing good came from it (damn the eagles and the redskins)
December 13, 200322 yr it wasnt just in chicago. being the perverted middle school kid i was (i believe i was in middle school when he was big) i thought of that name all by myself. Curtis Enis the Penis... no wonder i was laughed at constantly LMAO!! I did the same s*** I called him Curtis Enis the Penis too. :lol smallworld. I guess the world is full of perverted people.
December 13, 200322 yr I guess the world is full of perverted people. Thanks for the bulletin captain obvious
December 13, 200322 yr remember Donovan getting booed? they were just giving him a good old fashioned Philly welcome. Tim Couch could be considered a bust to, he's tip-toeing the line

Tim Couch could be considered a bust to, he's tip-toeing the line I dissed the Tim Couch pick the moment it was made. He was a system guy at Kentucky, and I don't know what Cleveland was thinking taking him 1st overall.
December 13, 200322 yr What kind of parent in their right mind names their kid... Curtis Peter Enis? Curtis P Enis? Give me a break. Morons shouldn't have kids if they name their kid that. But Tony Mandarich is the biggest bust in NFL history because of this... He was the "sure thing", the greatest O-Linemen in College Football history, guarunteed to dominate for years in the NFL. Lands in the NFL plays 3 years and hes gone. BUST. But where it gets bad is that we (the Packers) took "Tony the Pony" over 2 guys named Sanders. Deion and Barry. 2 Positions the Packers needed help at.
December 13, 200322 yr Mandarich went on to have a couple of decent seasons with the Colts after he left Green Bay. He was still a huge bust though. It started with that cover of Sports Illustrated before the draft. I think the Cowboys were supposed to maneuver and get him but "lost" out on him.

The Clowns offensive line has sucked since he's been there. Look at his game logs, when he doesn't get sacked, he tends to play pretty well. You gotta protect him.

December 13, 200322 yr No doubt about it...Ryan Leaf is the biggest QB bust in NFL history :thumbdown Biggest attitude problem too. Ryan Leaf definitely gets my vote what a :jackass
December 17, 200322 yr Akili was picked OVER McNabb right? McNabb was no. 2 Akili was no. 3 I said andre ware- he won the Heisman! Akili is up there too
December 17, 200322 yr was gino torretta a bust? didnt he win the heismen? he won the HEISMAN, yes. He wasnt an NFL bust though. How can someone be a bust if they are drafted in the 7th round? To be a bust, there needs to be a lot of talk about how well the player will perform in the NFL. Toretta got about the same amount of expectations as Ken Dorsey (little-to-none). It is common knowledge that the Heisman winner does not necessarily pan out in the NFL. But, a 1st round draft pick SHOULD pan out...therefore, when they dont, it's a bust. Shuler, Leaf, Mirer, Akili Smith, Andre Ware, and Cade McNown are the major busts of the 90s.
December 17, 200322 yr from Penn State, is there anybody in this game Penn State that is actually good..... besides Lavar Arrigntion and even he is OVA RATED..... Sure. Engram, Brady and a dozen linemen. None as good as Lavar. None among the top 10 in football, but I challenge anyone to find a school that could put more than 2 names on such a list. BTW, here's a list of Penn State alums who graduated with a great education and went onto the NFL. I chose Heath Shuler. 'Skins fans were making it sound like he was the next great thing.
