February 9, 200422 yr Just named a few well-known EMO bands. Since I know most of the people here don't like EMO, I felt like annoying them and asking this question.

February 9, 200422 yr old dashboard stuff was pretty good......but im not really into most of these bands. The Ataris are a great band but their old CD's are way better than the mainstream crap theyve been putting out lately.

I also like The Juliana Theory, Something Corporate, The Starting Line, Social Distortion, Senses Fail, Saves the Day, One Line Drawing, Hopes Fall, Further Seems Forever (Dashboard), and Braid (Hey Mercedes).
February 9, 200422 yr Author most people dont know anything that isnt played on radios I would agree with that. I was mostly into rap, but am now into emo and rock than I ever was with rap. I got into emo because of my step-sister has always been into it. I started listning to Dashboard, and went to one of their concerts here in Boca (Chris Carrabba is from Boca, in fact, he was my after-school councelor in elementary school). I've been more into emo and other rock ever since then. If you like rock a little bit but have never really heard emo before, I recomend it.
February 9, 200422 yr what a wonderful topic to start .... my a$$ ummm rufio aint emo .... the ataris aint emo ... those are punk rock bands what is this thing about bands saying they are emo or people think they are .... they are punk rock bands .... i guess if your not emo your not cool and WILD CARD u like one line drawing at least you like one good band
