May 10, 200323 yr that would be quite a turn around.... i said they would win 92 games......(back in ST)... i cant go back on my picks, but it aint looking good
May 10, 200323 yr 60-70 wins One word: INCONSISTENCY Btw: What happen to the 71-74, 86-89, 101-104 mark? Meaning the marlins can't win 73, 87, or 88 games? :mischief2 :shifty
May 11, 200323 yr We won 79 last year, and I thought in order to contend we would have to improve by 10 wins. I felt with the changes made we had enough to achieve this. That would mean 89 wins, but I think I have modified my expectations and I am looking more in the neighborhood of 80-85. We should be a .500 team at least, anything under that would be a disappointment. There is still a lot of season left, and no one has had the up-and downs we have had. In fact, no one has suffered the gross bad luck we have. Hopefully it will balance out.
May 11, 200323 yr Where's 50-60 wins? :confused Seriously, I said 75-85, with the total being on the low end of that bracket (probably more like 72 or 73 wins).
May 11, 200323 yr Author the reason we doing bad is cuz of pitchers 3 out and Micheal got hurt today ? i hope is nothin serious i dunno nothin cuz i was in the game.

I believe 60-65 is where we are headed, unless some kind of mid-season trades happen, and when we are hoovering around 30-40 wins at mid-way, I don't look for good things to happen that way, but possibly a lot of trades for prospects. I look for a radically younger team, much CHEAPER team, and likely another 50-60 win season in 2004.
May 11, 200323 yr I say ummm...60-70 because we have been inconsistence in the past 30 games! We cannot turn this season around. We have to wait untill next season and see what happens.
