Posted February 27, 200420 yr I hate Howard Stern. I think he should be vanished from planet earth. He is vulgar, he is an idiot, a megalomaniac who believed himself as the "king of all media". But I just can not stop being aggravated by him being pulled off the air by Clear channel. I should be happy, he is not on the air down here anymore. Wrong. I am not happy, I am deeply disturbed by this. You see, the fact that I hate Howard and his toilet humor, does not give me the right to deprive others from hearing his show. I always had the power to change the station when he was on. What is so different now that was not there before? This guy has been on the air for years, and only now they realize his show is "indicent''? Please! I don't want to get into a political discussion about this, but the "decency" standards applied to radio and TV now, are way out of the line. Maybe somebody will disagree strongly with me on this one. However, I have to tell you that if you don't like what you see or hear, you can always change the channel, you can always teach your children what is wrong and what is right, without having the government decide that for you. We are creating a prude society, one that is based on restriction, hypocrisy and dependent on government for everything... Is that what we want? I for sure do not want that. Bring back Stern! I hate him, I won't listen to him, but I know others want to and deserve to be able to listen to his crap... I will change the channel.
February 27, 200420 yr im a fan of the show, i think it is really funny. but i am the first to tell people if you dont like explicit content like sex drugs and racial jokes DONT LISTEN. i really hope they can get off FM and somehow get on sattelite radio...
February 27, 200420 yr Author No. You see, the point here is that they should be able to say and do their show however they want. The show should be free for all those who want to listen. Satellite will only be "restriction-free" for a little while, then "They" will come after them too... That is what bothers me.
February 27, 200420 yr Author "they" suck *gets fired* :lol If they only knew where you have your undergroung show... You'll be in jail for extreme indecency!

February 27, 200420 yr they cant find me, we jump stations and transmit on the move from Adamn's pickup. the DVD will be out this fall...
February 27, 200420 yr Howard rules and indecent humor is awesome, like the opie and anthony show, which I used to listen to every day. Howard's stance on gay marriage is critical of the bush administration and now they are pressuring to get him out, which is opposed to free speech. and screw decency, I have had it with stupid parents not being able to "protect their children." In my grandmother's day they had a gun in the house and with 8 siblings knowing where it was, no one touched it. THEY HAD SOME GOD DAMN RESPECT. Kids today in america are spoiled a**holes that refuse to learn right from wrong. Well lazy ass parents teach them, i want my hardcore sex on tv and radio, it's my right to see it and hear it.
February 27, 200420 yr ohhh k its just a matter of hypocrasy considering network TV can say sh!t a hole show bare ass and all of that but the host of a top rated radio show cant say anything without getting fined. it just makes no sense...

Well lazy ass parents teach them, i want my hardcore sex on tv and radio, it's my right to see it and hear it. have had it with stupid parents not being able to "protect their children." You nailed the problem. It is the lazyness of parents today to teach their children right from wrong that has gotten our society in this mess. Who said that TV or radio were made for educational purposes? No one. TV and radio were meant for communication and entertainment. In my childhood, my parents used to tell us which shows we were allowed to watch. We had a bed time that we could not break. If we did, we knew we were doing something wrong and for that we were punished. I learned what was right or wrong from my parents, teachers and mentors, not from TV or radio. I remember the first time I saw a kiss on TV (it was an event then), I thought it was quite amusing. I admit I tried kissing my male friends after I saw it, but in my 8 year old heart I knew it was wrong (kisses get girls pregnant anyway :mischief ). You see, what my parents thought me was stronger in my mind than TV or radio. Parents today rely too much on TV to keep their kids "occupied". This is what is wrong about the picture.
February 27, 200420 yr Stern is the only man in America that regularly tells women "c'mon...take off your pants"...and THEY DO IT!!! He's living every man's dream.

February 27, 200420 yr I love how he demeans people, especially women. He does it in a hilarious fashion. This one time they were complaining how are wife/girlfriend should treat their man better, b***hing about how lazy women are. That's great! I find that more entertaining than stupid celebrity interviews.

This one time they were complaining how are wife/girlfriend should treat their man better, b***hing about how lazy women are. That's great! I find that more entertaining than stupid celebrity interviews. That is precisely why I hate Howard. He treats women like objects. However, the women that go to his show want and deserve to be treated in the way he does. He talks that way about women because he is still bitter about his divorce. :mischief
February 27, 200420 yr He has always been that way towards women. An observation I made in life is that women are too afraid to let themselves be intelligent and self sufficient. Society makes women want to be lesser. Very few girls I know are willing to talk about anything very intelligent, and even meaningless banter from most females is at a lower level than men. I remember in middle school when girls were still smarter than boys. Then they all started to wear make up, not do work, talk stupid (like using the word "like" all the time), and act semi to full blown slutty. Big surprise, all of the sudden they are overall less intelligent. It is a waste of mental resources, people should be proud to excericse their mind. The more I do, the more intelligent I become. Of course this does not imply to everybody, but I certainly believe it is a problem with many. And of course the above is just an opinion, I have no real numbers to back it, just observations. Well the point for everyone is that we have to start focusing on our mind's more and not tolerate stupid drivel conversation.
February 27, 200420 yr The United States has traditionally been more prudish than most other places in the Western World.
February 27, 200420 yr Author The United States has traditionally been more prudish than most other places in the Western World. I disagree. If anything this country was the freest most uninhibited country in the western hemisphere. This whole prudish thing has gotten "popular" lately with certain somebody in power.
