Marlins are not going after Napoli despite reports. Marlins do not want to lose any draft picks for free agents this off season. That's not the reason, our first rounder is protected anyway. We would've given up the 2nd rounder but bidding on Napoli probably got out of hand. And we 100% did try for Napoli. I know we had no interest in signing Napoli, not talking out of my ass here, but we we're never really "in" on him. The Marlins want to keep all 4 of their early picks. They will not sign anybody that makes them lose a pick.

What would you give Napoli in terms of a contract.. We are not going for Napoli so its irrelevant anyways.

Why does everyone keep wondering who will be playing third base? It sure as hell won't be Solano. Probably because there's no one in the organization capable of playing it short-term.Yup Moran is a good year away at least. Need to sign somebody or stuck with the Dietrich/Solano platoon of goodness

2014 - The Growing Pains

The offense still stinks. That it does. Although Ozuna being in the lineup every day and the addition of Salty should help it out a bit. Hopefully we get somebody with decent pop to fill out the lineup at 3B.

3.5 million low risk, good clubhouse guy like Furcal. A solid signing. Just need a 3B now and our starting lineup is done.

Good signing. Should be a nice bat for our lineup. Really like the way our future looks. We may be a year away, but I really like the direction of this team.
