  15. Thats odd.. last I heard he was thinking of taking the first half or so off.. but he got a good deal out of a great half year coming back with the Cards.. I wish him the best in TB but I think he'll struggle because of what division he'll be in..
  16. It's sad that we as a society accept the fact that he was drunk behind the wheel endangering the lives of others and can laugh it off because he couldn't say his ABC's. I laughed about him being behind the wheel drunk off? Thats a load of BS.. I understand the people that dont wanna laugh about this.. they have their reasons and very good reasons.. he endangered many.. theres no doubt.. if you want a perfect example.. go no further than Leonard Little.. how that retard got away with what he did is amazing.. it's just stupid to drink and drive.. I guess if some of us laugh about the video released that makes us wrong even if some of us dont condone what happened endangering others risking those lives? :thumbdown Maybe it's wrong for me to laugh at these videos.. who knows?
  17. What am I supposed to be? Uptight about all this because the retard was drunk and not find a chuckle out of this somehow? Wow.. I dont see whats wrong with that.. Do I condone what he did? Of course not.. I also dont find a drunk behind a wheel funny, but I found this video funny.. whatever though.. to each his or her own..
  18. DRIVING WHILE DRUNK! HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111 :banghead Did I say that was hilarious? NO.. The video of him doing the alphabet drunk is.. doesnt mean him driving drunk was by any means hilarious.. was moronic and stupid.. glad they got him when they did..
  19. Officer: Almost done. Sir, you know the English alphabet?ABCs? ?When I tell you to begin, I want you to close your eyes and tilt your head back. And I want you to recite the English alphabet, A to Z, in a non-rhythmic manner. Don?t sing it. Any questions about that? Tony La Russa: (indiscernible) Officer: Okay, you may begin TLR: A, B, C?D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, I, Z?M, N, O?P, Z, Q, R, S, T, U, V..uh, V?V, Z, T, U, V, X, Y, X, Z. Officer: Okay?Okay Today's Top Video - Video On Demand | KMOV.com | St. Louis, MO Today's Top Video - Video On Demand | KMOV.com | St. Louis, MO :notworthy Hahaha

  22. Jocketty out as Cards' general manager By Bernie Miklasz POST-DISPATCH SPORTS COLUMNIST 10/03/2007 The Cardinals and general manager Walt Jocketty have "parted ways," according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation. The Cardinals have scheduled a 4 p.m. news conference to discuss Jocketty?s departure after 13 seasons as GM. Assistant general manager John Mozeliak has been named interim GM by Cardinals chairman Bill DeWitt Jr. and is a candidate to succeed Jocketty on a full-time basis. Jocketty?s contract runs through 2008 and he apparently reached terms on a financial settlement with DeWitt in a meeting Wednesday morning. [Link] Bye Tony.. Maybe.. maybe not.. but this isnt a good sign for Tony either.. As GM, Jocketty fortified the roster with acquisitions such as Mark McGwire, Jim Edmonds, Edgar Renteria, Darryl Kile, Chris Carpenter, Scott Rolen, Woody Williams, Dennis Eckersley, Todd Stottlemyre, Fernando Vina, Adam Wainwright, Jason Marquis, Admin Walker, Will Clark and Jeff Weaver. But other than Weaver, who pitched well in the 2006 postseason, Jocketty has been unable to make high-impact acquisitions over the last two seasons. Thanks for everything Walt.. you did what you could.. you helped bring us a World Championship.. man.. what a sad day..
  23. ... at the ballpark in Arizona before tonite's game... don't know what time.... I am told by another source that it will be a "casual" setting - in the dugout. Not sure why TLR isn't a part of it. Don't know if Rick will answer questions... or how many. --B http://www.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4892402
