The Mets drowned in Lake Bachar. With Bellozo down right now,, we have a 9 pitcher bullpen with 2 more guys (Roa and Pilar) we can shuttle up and down. I think worrying about the bullpen being overused is premature right now.

Or they could overuse all the starters, have them pitch way more innings than they ever had and then watch every one of them get injured and miss significant time. It's a long season, analytics don't support third time through the lineup, and this is the longest Gillispie has ever pitched in his career. You have to look at the big picture.

Mets are starting Hayden Senger at catcher today. He's one of the few major leaguer I had never heard of and had to look up. Was a 24th round pick in 2018.
