don't care.

Jacob Stallings memorial pitching spot up. Embarrassing.

Totally different team when Acuna and Strider come back. Not looking forward to seeing the Marlins have to face the Dodgers.

Bellozo pitched two innings for JAX tonight. Assume we will see him back in the rotation next time around. Andrew Salas got his first professional hit for JUP. Jacob Berry is 0-3 with 3 k's.

He's definitely getting to the end of the rope.

cool story bro

had to switch over to braves broadcast, hall of famer Fred McGriff in booth. my all time favorite player.

First hit of year for DLC.

Is that the lead singer of Skid Row?

Runs may be at a premium for us tonight.

no Jazz update tonight?

Snelling pitching in AA tonight. Thomas White pitching in High A.

I drank too much last night and i'm feeling a little schwellenbach. hopefully I will be recovered by game time.

gotta be spell check, I hate making errors like that. my bad.

This is my year-long thread for Day off Marlins Evaluation. Yes, Do Me. Anyways, this will be random thoughts and bulletin points, Larry King-style (read it in a Kermit the Frog voice) (yes, weed is legal where I live) Marlins are 4-3 and performing above expectations so far. The starting rotation right now is: Sandy Alcantara, Connor Gillispie, Valente Bellozo, Max Meyer, Cal Quantrill The AAA rotation through five games is: Janson Junk, Freddy Tarnok, Robinson Pina, Edward Cabrera, Adam Mazur Notes: Liam Hicks got his first MLB hit on Wednesday. Laurbert Arias made his MLB Debut with 3 scoreless innings in relief. Edward Cabrera made a rehab start in Jacksonville. The other minor league affiliates start tomorrow (Friday) The top six in the JAX batting order are all players acquired in trades. Jacob Berry continues to suck. Big Wagon looks like Temu Orestes Destrade. Garrett Pauley and Kyle Stowers have looked solid so far. Javier Sanoja has made good contact, but striking out more than normal. Jacob Marsee somehow has a .348 OBP despite getting only 1 hit. Pollythewog wants to get back together with Peter Bendix and reportedly Bender has that annoying Taylor Swift song on repeat. The Braves are on pace to go 0-162 Luis Castillo started for the Mariners last night. Luis Castillo is starting for the Mariners tomorrow. Cooper Hummel is a free agent. Did not know Anderson Cooper and Robbie Hummel merged. Me and PJ Morlando have one career at bat. Me, PJ Morlando, and Dillon Head have 6 career games as Marlins farmhands combined. Aiden May has never given up an earned run since signing with the Marlins. Neither have I. Bruce Sherman still owns the team, unfortunately.

As far as lhp goes, we have king and Rooney in AAA. Both are kind of journeyman guys and not that young. The good news is 4 of our top 17 prospects are lhp. T white, snelling, Fulton, and keyner. benitez. All are currently starters but could see the last two converting to the bullpen eventually.

Mazur gave up a 2-run homer to former number one pick Marcelo Meyer in the first then settled down and looked solid through 4th. In honor of Jacob Berry I am going to go for a walk, pretty sure I won't get hit.

Our approach has been ultra-aggressive in the minors. That hasn't translated yet with he big club but I think it will in the future. Did just about everything right but couldn't win the game. The good: Connor Gillispie with the best start of his career. The bad: Mets did everything they could to lose, but the Marlins couldn't seal the deal. The ugly: Wagamann and Bride still have their February swings. One of those learning experience games but can't complain about the effort. At least we face the worst team in baseball next. 4-3 with our two best hitters and 4 out of 5 starting rotation pitchers out is just fine right now.

I believe Brazoban is Spanish for Bednar or at least I hope it is.

Might have pinch hit Hill here and had him lay down a bunt but your two hottest hitters up so win, lose, draw with them.

Bullpen has been solid. Mama said there will be days like this. Curry is going to be riding the Jacksonville express this year but no need to give up on one bad inning.

Well the wheels fell off but some good came out of this game. We scratched and clawed our way to runs and did everything right. Twice had the winnnig run thrown out at home and one pitch mistake cost us. Top of the order coming up. Hoping the Mets claim Bednar between innings and throw him out there.

You definitely have to walk Alonso here.

One of the few times I'll agree with you. Wagaman doesn't have it. Was hoping you'd say something negative before he swung.

Norby and Sanchez both out. They are arguably our two best hitters. We are manufacturing runs. Probably won't sustain itself going forward.
