About time somebody stands up for the fans! I've always believe there is NO way Loria lost money in 2003. But I guess its easy to spend money when you're taking plane trips to Vegas to scout out locations, or flying back and forth to Puerto Rico trying to get Delgado to sign, only to whore him out a year later. Manny is as good as gone... Trot Nixon hit 13 home runs last year, If Mike hits less than that the Red Sox will consider him a failure, and Johnny Damon will be back... Who can take his contract on? Also, I dont think the Sox will trade him now that they just acquired te starter they needed to become much more of a factor then they would have been before the deal. If Manny wants to get traded (maybe to the Angels) then Manny will be traded....

Wow, Im here trying to tell everyone that Lowell will hit a lot of homeruns next year and your trying to disprove it... I thought you guys wanted him to tear it up and be the MVP and crap, how is he going to be the MVP if he's the 7th best hitter on his team? If Manny is gone, I don't think it's that much of a reach that Lowell finishes 2nd on the team in HR. I mean, Edgar hit all of 8 last season. Varitek hit 22, he's the best candidate to have more than Lowell. We have to remember all Lowell's "awesome" fly outs to the track in left will be gone in Fenway. I think he'll hit 20 HR next season, even if he only hits .240. Ding Ding, we have a winner....
