The Marlins should move to Charlotte.... They could be in the same division and would be close enough to the die hard fans in S. Florida.

I went to high school with Volstad last year in Palm Beach Gardens, he was a freaking stud for our team!!! He's a tall kid with a killer mixup...he goes to all the varsity football games this year with his Marlins cap on...its great!!!

So lets say the Marlins are fully ready to compete again in 2007 or 2008, what are we looking at for a starting 5?? Dontrelle Vargas Olsen Johnson Volstad Kensing?? Allison??

At first I didn't want to trade Delgado within the division either, but Lastings Milledge is a flat out stud, and if the Mets throw him our way we couldnt turn it down...

Another good thing about the Beckett trade, Yankee Nation is crying once again!!! Gammons reports the PTBNL is a minor-league pitcher and he also says Carlos Delgado WILL be gone posiible to the Dodgers or the Mariners who have jumped in all of a sudden... Beckett and Lowell were huge for this team the past 3 or 4 years and they will truely be missed....I didn't say anything about missing Mike Lowell's bat

Makes sense....I actually think Beinfest woke up and realized what he was doing. I would trade Beckett to get rid of Lowell's disheartening contract, but the Red Sox seem to have the best deal on the table. However, some of the Red Sox guys seem to be happily sending away Hanley Ramirez, making me wonder if he really is worth the hype....

I have questioned whether the moving of this franchise would allow me to still stay true to them, but Major League Baseball may answer those questions for me. After 2006, the CBA allows for up to 2 teams to be contracted, which may seem to be a viable option for this somewhat dieing franchise. I also fear that if the Devil Rays don't pick it up, they might also be contracted, erasing all of South Florida Major League Baseball. Looks like us here in the Sunshine State will we waiting for Spring Training every year.... PLEASE GOD NOOO!!! I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!
