we have won two game we lose to tampa that is sad!!!!! why are we lossing that much at home that question that marlins need ask them self why? this not home sweet home anymore maybe they are tired or "uninspired" playing in front of less than adequate crowds and when they do draw a decent crowd (ie, mets and red sox) more than half the park is routing against them......sounds like it would be pretty discouraging to me if i were a player at "home" so maybe that could account for the home record??? maybe Ok, why would a PRO baseball player get "uninspired" when im pretty sure they would get more than inspired by the millions of dollars they would possibly get from winning. They might not get those millions here but they can get them somewhere else....if they do good.

Loria, without Girardi the Marlins would still be the laughing stock of MLB, moreso than the Royals. Grow the f*** up. I think deep down inside, Loria is actually disappointed the Marlins are doing so well. Kind of like in Major League how that female owner or whatever wanted her team to do bad so she could get more money and move the team. you are so clueless. loria would never make as much money in san antonio or portland with a market the size of south florida PERIOD. im not convinced girardi deserves that much credit. all these guys the marlins fo gathered were very good prospects in their former teams. id give a ton of credit to the FO before giving it to girardi. U r either Samon or Loria himself...

I went this past saturday and sunday and I probably lost about 3 pounds just sitting there in the heat, even in the night game my marlins cap felt like i just dunked it in a bucket of water. On sunday ( a day game) i was prepared with some sunblock but i guess that wasnt enough because i ended up getting a sunburn on my neck, face, and arms. And i didnt even stay until the end of the game!

Just to add some info ESPN's Buster Olney says Andruw Jones has been claimed on waivers, though he doesn't know by which team. This whole thing isn't much of a story. Jones can be traded to whichever team claimed him, but the only players the Braves could get in return are prospects not on the 40-man roster or players who fall to them on waivers. There's almost no way that they'd get the kind of talent they want in return for Jones in a waiver deal. Source: ESPN.com
