  1. WTG, Miguel!! Let's go, Lowell!!!! Rally time!
  2. The Yankees are my team of choice now since we will be eliminated. I hope they CRUSH the Cubs and all the curses stay in tact. After all, what is baseball without 2 of the best curses in history?????? GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!! And thanks, Marlins, for a fabulous season. Enjoyed it! Yep, I have to admit that I am a life-long Yankees fan, a life-long Red-Sox hater, and a Marlins fan since they began. I am really hoping for a Yankees-Marlins WS -- I'd be rooting for the Marlins, but wouldn't be too upset either way.
  3. I know the Marlins have come back from things like this many times before, and I sure hope they do. Yet, how often can we keep going to the well? As often as we need to.....
  4. OK. Let's go and get some runs, guys!
  5. No one hates the Red Sox more than I do, but I still am a huge Kevin Millar fan. My husband and I both think that Kevin's addition to the Sox is what is making the difference for them this year -- not so much his stats, although they have been great, but his attitude and his use of humor to unite any team he is with. We watched him do it with the Portland SeaDogs when he was with them -- and even when he was rehabbing here for just a couple games, they performed like a much better team. It breaks my heart now to have to root against him when he is up to bat... :confused Lowell SHOULD keep that message for the rest of his life!
  6. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way To Go PUDGE!
  7. Thanks, you guys...what a great way to start the day!
  8. Another CFO to choose from -- does it count that I'm married to one? :lol Okay, time to confess: You've always loved that Randy Newman song "It's Money That I Love," haven't you? Don't worry ? that's not a problem. In fact, it actually gives you an advantage in this bottom-line-focused rat race. Not to mention that it makes you an ideal CFO. Chief financial officers are all about money, from accounts payable to petty cash. Since you're detail-oriented and a consummate perfectionist, you'd be great at making sure all the columns on the spreadsheet add up right. Minding the books is hard work, but you love a challenge. Who knows? If this works out, you could end up like Scrooge McDuck and have a giant money bin to swim in. (Mind if we come over for a dip?) No doubt about it, there's a promotion in your future. So keep up the good work! Hey MarlinsFan46, how come we get the same answers to everything??
