Mordi = veteran Harris = veteran Redmond = veteran Conine = veteran Easley = veteran I think you could live without one of the 4. Especially if you consider Lowell a veteran which he for all intensive purposes is. who do we have to replace them with? last time i checked its bad to have a young fella riding pine instead of getting ABs in the little leagues. personally i would of addressed that last winter. hell at least gerald williams gives you a guy who could run and play defense. so your argument is replace a Vet with another Vet?

Tex, Mordi and Lenny are valuable. what we dont need is players with NO value who are only on said team due to contract situations ( out of options ) but on the other hand we NEEDED an able body to play CF just in case. so what can you do? Jack is probably playing OMGNU?EZ! just to prove to some in the media or "fanbase" that the kid has skillz but just is not what people think he is. I do not mind him being on our team but he Fo Damn Sho doesnt need to play more than once every 10 games... dissiminate that FOO Mordi = Lenny. One should be a coach. One should be a player. There is no real reason to have both take up a valuable roster spot. BTW has Mordi even sniffed the field yet? PS. You are 100% correct on OMGNUNEZ! well they are well worth keeping since we have nobody better. one if not both will move on to pasture next year and they mean alot to the players and coaches. Vets are needed you cant just have 25 KidZ on a team and expect them to A: play good B: stay out of trouble and anyway since when is the bench a problem? if our starting 8 hit so far we wouldnt even have this conversation.
