  1. I remember the Alabama rumors last year, and a WV alum called the Jim Rome show and said if Rodriguez ever returns to WV he better be in a bullet-proof limo. Guess it's time for him to spring for one? :mischief

Didn't move anything. I uninstalled WavePad and all of a sudden, *poof* my desktop is devoid of 70% of what was there before. Mostly Word and Notepad documents. Lesson #1: NEVER EVER save documents on the desktop. It may be too late now, but for next time. :mischief

Chuck Norris wouldn't have this problem. It would open automatically for him and only him, in any weather, on his command. :mischief

It happened again. I realized from my ordeal last time that I'm limited, as my computer doesn't want to let me install programs to my E drive and it's a laptop so the C drive isn't exactly easily removed. I lost a lot of important stuff (again), including things I was using to work on my law school apps. Help :confused You lost your stuff? Did you move anything, and where to?

I know about HDTV, but not HD DVD formats. Is there a market for players to can handle both formats? http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-13817_7-6462511-1.html That's what Super-Blu is, though they are pretty expensive themselves.
  6. Actually China's been accused of quarantining and/or executing AIDS patients too.

The latest example of a parent selling a christmas present. Last year it was a PS3.
  8. I'm not too picky. Here are the two things I DEFINITELY want to see done: The rest is just silly frou-frou stuff I can do without! I dunno, I think numbers on the armrests like at Turner Field are pretty frou-frou myself. :mischief

Alright. It's my father's birthday this week and he's a rabid technophile. The one home theater component he's yet to purchase is a Hi-Def disc player, and I'm considering getting him one. What are the pros and cons of each technology? That's a huge question. Blu-Ray has a max size of 50GB (25GB x 2 layers), while HD-DVD has a max size of 51GB (17GB x 3 layers). The only thing is catalog. If WB decides to go all-Blu, go Blu. Otherwise, get a Super-Blu and play both. (One big thing: HD-DVD is region-free, just differences between NTSC and PAL.)
  10. Congrats! :thumbup

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7146567.stm The only reason they are doing this is because the House Dems broached the idea of a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide. Even though they eventually took the idea off the table. Turkey had been holding off in deference to the U.S. before that. I think it's stupid that Turkey is so pissy about the Armenian Genocide (it was done by the Ottoman Empire a full seven years before they were overthrown by Ataturk; they couldn't say it was the Ottomans and leave it at that?), but oh well...
  12. St. Louis Carolina Cleveland Green Bay Houston Detroit Giants Jacksonville New Orleans Arizona Tampa Bay Seattle New England Jets Minnesota San Diego 7-9
  13. TD baby, 17-7 Jags. Love that drive. *argh, I spoke too soon. Bobbled the hold, PAT no good. 16-7 Yeah, that kinda sucks. Oh well, the Jags are on the march.
  14. Jags on the goal line! Knocking on the door!
  15. Jags in the lead, and charging again. :mischief Dan Dierdorf going on about how Jack Del Rio built a team that can go north in the winter. EDIT: Another first down.
  16. Roughing the passer against Pittsburgh. Fourth and 1 gets a 15-yard penalty tacked onto it.
  17. Fred Taylor with his seventh 1,000-yard rushing season.
  18. Whoops, Big Ben got it stripped. Fell on it way in the backfield, effective sack. And a backfield tackle on a run. Jags to get the ball again.
  19. I had a dream last night Spurlock was goign to take one back. No lie. Sure it was against the Patriots in the Super Bowl, but whatever. You never know, it may still come true. :mischief
  20. Fox, Gene's call on the return, awesome? My windows shattered. TOUCHDOWN TAMPA BAY!!! FIRE THE CANNONS!!!!!! I actually heard the call last year on Matt Bryant's 62-yard FG. THE KICK IS UP, AND IT ISSSSS......GOOD?! GOOD!! GOOD!! GOOOOOD!!! THE BUCS BEAT THE EAGLES!!! MATT BRYANT IS MY HERO!!!!!!
  21. f***, Pittsburgh TD
  22. In the meantime, another 3 and out for Big Ben.
  23. Flag after the snap. Too late to challenge. He was nowhere near out of bounds anyway. You fail at trying to spoil history, kthxbai.
  24. "The Stat" is no more. :mischief The Bucs special teams coach was crying.
  25. The snow must have just started right before game time in Cleveland, because it was raining this morning. They just showed a highlight.
