OrlandoRays, put it this way, say the Marlins offense was rolling and scored 10 runs through 3 innings but then Mike Jacobs dropped every throw to first base so the opposing team had 9 unearned runs through 3 innings. The Marlins would be winning, but I bet theyd be booing. That's not a good comparison. An incomplete pass is not the same as a dropped ball at first base.
