Kensing seems to suck EVERY TIME the game is on the line. This is the reason why the Phillies will win the division. When they get a lead...their bullpen holds. The Mets and Marlins...not so much. The guy gives up a base hit with the bases that were loaded by someone else. He got the second out. If we lose this game I'm going to be so heartbroken. Now we decide to slump again? Heartbroken? You act like this team is in the race. They were finished in August.

Thank god the bad news bears returned. I had no idea who I was watching for the past week or so. Throwing the ball around, throwing to the wrong base...blah, blah, blah. I can't wait till a real roster is assembled.

So I am one of the several members on this great webiste that can't stand those ridiculous threads that say Fire Fredi, get rid of this guy because he can't hit with 2 strikes, and others "get rid of" threads.. Well, since I "love" those stupid threads so much I thought I would share some feelings and start my own.. FIRE BO PORTER! This guy is a complete MORON! How the hell he is coaching third base on a major league team blows my mind! The guy doesn't even know where he is standing for god sake. If this DUMBASS is coaching third base on this team next season I am going to flip. I mean fans sitting on the couch or in the stands have better judgment then him! Fish4life nevers has to many rants about the teams struggles because I try to be as positive ad I can, but throw that comment out the window and FIRE BO PORTER!! Thoughts? That is just plain stupid! Fire the 3rd base coach and this team is better? While most former and current 3rd base coaches are somewhat incompetent at times, Bo Porter is at the extreme end. He simply doesn't belong at that posititon.

The way you want to talk to the reporters when you hit a walk off home run, you have to face them when you mess up. here comes my fan club. Players aren't obligated to talk to the media. The media seems to think they are entitled just because most players DO answer their questions. All that matters is what they do on the field. Fans worry too much about things that are out of their control. We pay to see players play the game, not to see them in the club house. . . . Except, like Marlins2003 said, they are obligated to talk to the media. It says so in their contract. Where does it say that? That sounds ridiculous. And what are they going to do if they DON'T? Several players don't talk to the media. I have a hard time believing that its in the contracts. As for the media in S. Florida, all they do is berate this team. Screw them. They don't hype this team at all. It's pretty easy to berate this team when they play Little League baseball every other night. I've read enough positive articles this year in the sentinel and herald so the lack of hyped up articles don't bother me. The media is S. Florida is tame compared to any other large market media. I'd love to read the entertaining articles that the NY Post, Times, or Daily News would pump out if they were covering the LL Marlins everyday.

It might be some time before we see Gaby, Coghlan, Maybin, Raynor or any other Mudcat. With them being in the Southern league playoffs, I highly doubt any of them is called up prior to the end of their season. I'm not all that familiar with the length of their playoff system. Is anyone here?
