  1. Our offense is not as good as any offense in the division if you actually go by statistics. Also, Beurhle is just replacing Vazquez, so we are basically back to square one. FAIL. Vasquez who sucked for half the year, and then dominated the 2nd half of season is not Mark Buerhle....
  2. 6 years 90 million is the rumored offer to CJ? Olney just reported that on live edition of sportcenter, he also stated that the angels need to step up their CASH FLOW!!! to get CJ
  3. MOROSI'S LATEST TWEETS Source: If #Angels don't match #Marlins' six-year offer, C.J. Wilson likely to sign with Miami. @MLBONFOX
  4. Having Prince and then Stanton is a dangerous duo in the HR department especially considering the new stadium is a hitter's park. :dancehead This is exactly why they need to use the 200 million on CJ Wilson and Mark Buerhle....It's a pitcher's park with more space in the outfield which equates to much more triples from Reyes, Hanley, and Bonafacio
  5. if he signs fielder and cj wilson i will forgive him and look forward What will you forgive him for? being frugal, I will forgive him the following year after we win the world series and the team is still intact...
  6. Had to go out for a while, any updates? Pujols prefers paper to plastic. oh der..... 1:36 p.m. ET The Miami Marlins are out of the running for free-agent superstar Albert Pujols, according to the New York Daily News. The Marlins believe that Pujols and the St. Cardinals are "a few million dollars apart" and are likely to re-sign their All-Star first baseman, a source has told the Daily News. Miami, which has been among the most aggressive teams at the Winter Meetings this week, will likely turn their focus to free-agent first baseman Prince Fielder. It was reported yesterday afternoon that the Marlins had become the first team to offer Pujols a contract with a duration of 10 years at a price of over $200 million. By late last night, it was reported that not only had the Cardinals at least matched the Marlins offer, another "mystery team" had entered the mix with their own $200 million deal. Pujols, 31, is considered by many to be the top free-agent on the market this winter. The slugging first baseman hit .299/.366/.541 with 37 home runs and 99 RBIs for the Cardinals last season.
