I have applied with MLB and the Marlins for Press status in order to cover the team for the Ballpark news site. Admin, if I get approved, I would like to ask if you would'nt mind me sharing info on the boards.

i don't expect it, but if i get it i can use official logos and have other content for the site.

Would that give you the ability to gain access to places like the locker room with a press pass as well?

i would not use the press pass. i could get photos, official releases, stories, stats, and other things that would be helpful to this site.

thank you all. i hope it happens, so then Admin can have all the headshots he wants for avatar icons and logos for his banners.

I got denied. You go to any of the team sites, click on the media link on the bottom and follow the directions.

Good luck, I don't even have one and I run the site. They don't consider this site to be anything more than another fansite and fansites can't get credentials it would seem.

basically, you have to work for a corporation owned site or whatever or else you won't get it
