April 17, 200422 yr Conine will likely retire in a year or two, and hopefully becomes a coach for the Marlins. Nunez, well, I hope he does well, but Aguila and Hermida are better options to take over in a year or two.

If Nunez doesnt get a hit tonight.... he doesnt deserve another start for a week or so. He hasnt proven a damn thing yet which would cause him to earn starts on consecutive days.
April 18, 200422 yr Author Nunez got a hit tonight......it batting .300 for the year. Ortiz got him to chase two high heaters for easy Ks....but then Abraham laid off the high heater later on and got a hit......so he was learning. All in all a pretty good outing for Nunez.
