May 10, 200422 yr A lot of people need braces...and they need them for a long time also. I think that aroung 90% of people need braces atleast a little...
May 10, 200422 yr Yeah...Mazel Tov! But make sure to wear your retainer after...because if you dont than your braces wont be straight and you will need braces again. I know a lot of people who have got braces twice because they didnt wear their retainer after they got their braces off the first time.

May 10, 200422 yr Wear the retainer! When I didnt wear mine, my bottom teeth went to hell and a year later the bottoms went back on, not a fun time.

May 11, 200422 yr Author I think i've had my braces on 3 years,and my mom took them off like 2 years ago(she had em clear so u could barely tell)she hasn't worn retainers in a while the teeth are still straight but they've moved a little.

I regret ever getting braces since my teeth were straight in the first place but I had an overbite. It did very little for me other than now you can see my bottom teeth a little better when I smile. WOW! Its a waste of money unless you have big ass buck teeth.

May 11, 200422 yr Well thats how they make money...why wouldnt they say you need braces? They all say that. You cant blame them for that.... And a lot of times it seems like your going to get your braces off but then you have to leave them on for a lot longer....you cant really tell when your going to be able to take them off.
