rferry
That stat box is wrong. Choi OWNED Estes last year. I guess they don't count intrasquad games and batting practice. My prediction: Pierre bunts his way on the 6th, steals second and is driven in by Castillo for the safety. Marlins 2, Rockies 0. OMGNUNEZ runs for 100+ yards, including a three-yard fourth down conversion in the 8th inning. :marlins
RockyMountainMarlin
I'm telling you right now, Estes is good. Not Beckett good, but still pretty damn good. We can get shut out if we only look for the HR ball. That said, its still Coors and everybody can have a bad day so we will need to jump on every opportuntity we get. I hope it doesn't end that way, but I have the feeling Colorado might edge us in a close game here. It might depend on whether or not Castillo doesn't ignore me and signs a hat for my brother

QuickGold
Yahoo! Sports Game Preview Darren Oliver is not like most pitchers. He enjoys Coors Field. Oliver will try to lead the Florida Marlins to their second straight victory when they meet the Colorado Rockies in the middle game of their series. The 33-year-old left-hander, who was 13-11 with the Rockies last season, is 8-3 with a 4.80 ERA in 19 career games at Coors Field. He said it's hard to explain why he does so well in a ballpark known to be extremely tough on pitchers. ``In that park, you never know,'' Oliver said. ``Some days it can be 2-1 and some days, 15-10. You never know there. Maybe they just scored a bunch of runs when I pitched and I happened to get past the fifth inning.'' The Marlins, who dropped two of three to Atlanta over the weekend, opened this series with a 6-3 victory on Monday. Carl Pavano pitched eight strong innings, and Miguel Cabrera and Alex Gonzalez each hit a two-run homer to help Florida continue the best start in franchise history. Gonzalez, who is batting .175, finished 2-for-4 for his first multihit game of the season. The Rockies lost for the third time in their last four. Third baseman Vinny Castilla went 0-for-3, snapping his 10-game hitting streak and his team-record streak of 10 consecutive games with an RBI. Jeromy Burnitz homered and Todd Helton had an RBI double for Colorado. Kit Pellow added an RBI single in the ninth off Chad Fox, but Marlins closer Armando Benitez struck out Charles Johnson with two on for his 10th save in 10 chances. Flamarlins3
Good interview of Jack 1. Doesnt like to see Agon hit homers because goes to his head 2. Needs single/double hitter which is why red is in Only caught last two questions
