May 29, 200323 yr Which choices you talking about Ramp? It has to be the guys following the leaders.... Our Alex Gonzalez should be in the top five....maybe the voters get confused....
May 29, 200323 yr Author Sea Bass should be on there Castillo should be in the top 5 Pudge and Piazza shouldnt be in the top 2 Lowell, well you know what I think... and where is DLee :lol :lol :lol
May 29, 200323 yr So who is everyone voting for? here's my picks so far: (I use Marlins when it's close but I try to be fairly objective otherwise) American C Posada 1B Delgado 2B Boone SS A-Rod 3B Blalock OF Vernon Wells OF Garrett Anderson OF Rocco Baldelli DH Carl Everett National C Santiago 1B Thome 2B Castillo SS Alex Gonzalez (ours) 3B Mike Lowell OF Pujols OF Kearns OF Sheffield
May 29, 200323 yr Tommy Hutton said Pudge is leading the NL in Votes for Catchers so Pudge will be in the all star game for sure and i think Mike Lowell will be the other.....
May 29, 200323 yr oh yeah forgot about Soriano....ah he doesn't need my vote he'll get in anyway. lol
May 29, 200323 yr I voted for Edgar at short....as far as the rest, I have to go back and look. From my perspective...you cant go wrong with Edgar, Sea Bass or even Furcal now. No other shortstop deserves to be menionted.....One of these three will win the fan vote, one will be the reserve, with the other 'probably' being snubbed.
May 29, 200323 yr Here are the guys that I will endose as my official candidates for various reasons.... 1B Jeff Bagwell 2B Jeff Kent SS Edgar Renteria 3B Mike Lowell OF Albert Pujols OF Gary Sheffield OF Sammy Sosa C Paul LoDuca The only ones that you might argue over is the Sosa and Bagwell picks...The rest are extremely solid, even though I probably SHOULD vote for Sea Bass because nobody else will. Sexson might be the best candidate at first base. Catcher just sucks this year more or less. In the AL 1B Initially I went with Raffy...but Delgado has caught fire since my inital thought process... Sweeney is a solid pick also 2B Alfonso Soriano SS Nomar Garciapara 3B Hank Blalock OF Ichiro OF Juan Gonzalez OF Vernon Wells C Jorge Posada DH Carl Everett The only pick you can really quibble over could be Ichiro, but I love him as a player so I have to pick him. Ironically enough, look at how many Rangers were picked by me. This is eerily reminisit (sp) of the mid 90s when they had offense coming out of their ears. The Rangers WILL contend by the end of hte summer for the wildcard, they have no starting pitching, but they will just outslug everyone. Watch.
May 29, 200323 yr They must be confusing our Alex with the Cubs Alex.... IdioTs! No it's just The Cubs fans have nothing better to do than *click* *Back* *Click *Back* and so on...
May 29, 200323 yr They must be confusing our Alex with the Cubs Alex.... IdioTs! No it's just The Cubs fans have nothing better to do than *click* *Back* *Click *Back* and so on... I'm taking a guess that's the same thing w/Renteria and Rolen (Rolen is beating Mike by 200,000 some odd votes).
