Craig
I'm VERY happy the Bulls got the #3 pick.... Odds are now they will get Luol Deng, who has the most potential of any player in this year's draft BY FAR IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I would have loved Okafor just for the work ethic he has, something that posistion has not seen with Chandler. Dang is just as fine though... True that, but if the dominos fall as expected, it's too obvious for the Bulls NOT to take Deng. You a Bulls fan too?
nc marlin
I'd trade the pick before taking a dook player. The curse lives.

Players that leave Duke early usually do. Maggette, Brand and Boozer. It's the ones who spend 4 years learnign how to perfect the flop and handcheck that fail. Rebirth
Magic are probably going to draft Okafor. If the Bulls draft Deng, I hope he doesn't pull a Jay Williams.

miami15
I'd be shocked if the Magic didn't take Okafor. THey need help right away, not some high school kid.
Izzie
i can't tell you how great it was to not even have to worry about the draft lottery, locked at #19 this has got to be the weakest draft in a long time for the exception of a few players hope okafor likes disney
DaGreatOne
Weak in NBA ready players but a lot of guys with a lot of potential in the future.
TSwift25
The question is: do you think the Magic keep the pick. Okafor is their guy if they stay at #1, but there's a lot more wrong with their team than Okafor can fix; especially if McGrady is leaving like a few papers have indicated... The only way the Magic trade this pick is if they trade it along with Juwan Howards contract or Hills remaing contract and get a young big man in return which seems unlikely to me. If not they will draft Okafor which I think would be the smart decision because that would make a nice nucleus of Mcgrady, Okafor, and Gooden. If there able to trade for a solid point guard they will be back in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference.

The only players that I believe are worth a crap, that were on the team last year are McGrady and Deshawn Stevenson. If they can get a legitimate starter at PG, or C and 1 or 2 bench players, I think they would do it.

Okafor can play center in the East. Its the East were talking about they need 2 or 3 players and their back in the hunt.

Izzie
I don't think orlando will trade this pick - it's gonna have to be REAL good deal, it's not everyday you get a #1 pick
farmer_fran
I don't know I would be very nervous if the magic took Okafor. He's had back problems throughout his college career, and the magic already have 1 high paid player with a permanent spot on the DL. If they can find a team that is totally sold on Okafor and willing to give up a lot to get him they have to take it.
