Benitez

I'm pretty sure Cordero was at first that day, because he made a stupid error earlier in the game, and besides that if Miguel gets to Beltre's ball like he should of maybe that all never happens. But oh well the past is passed and Armando owns. :thumbup

By the time Benitez got in the game, Choi was at first. McKeon did a double switch when he brought in Benitez - he brought in Choi at the same time and batted him 9th and put Benitez in the #5 slot in the batting order.

All-Star Game = Popularity Contest.

Bonds, Griffey, and Sosa should be the starting OF if they're all healthy. Helton will be there, Renteria will be there, Smoltz will be there.

You don't think that Kaz Matsui will be the starting NL SS with? With internet voting as easy as it is, he may get several gazillion Japanese votes. Hideki Matsui started for the AL last year. I would bet on Matsui making it even though he hasn't been impressive just because of Japanese voting. I've voted 275 times for Lowell, Cabs, Pierre and Castillo, but I'd only bet on seeing Penny, Lowell and Mando for sure. It'd be REALLY nice to see Pierre, he deserves it, and his numbers are awesome, but it comes down to Jack deciding, as well cas Cabs. Castillo is always a possibility, it only depends on how his numbers look come July.

it was the same with Yao Ming.

he's not japanese but you get the point.

he's not japanese but you get the point. Asians simply go crazy with their players...it's like a cult!

Choi is going to start thanks to the Koreans :lol

If I remember correctly, Choi was second or third in first baseman voting last year. I'm serious, I was like "WTF?"

yeah, Asians take their hometown stars very seriously because I guess it's not everyday an Asian becomes utterly famous in America

My picks were simply who I felt should be there...making sure each team was represented by at least one player.

Royce Clayton over Todd Helton though? And even if the Todd Helton doesn't go to the ASG, the Rockies are still respresented by Castilla.

But seriosuly, ROYCE CLAYTON? @_@

Cubs fans + Korean internet voting, I'd assume.

When do they release the first batch of voting results. Remember last year they gave like 2 or 3 updates...
