Congrats to Penny for leaving my dog house

Old pitchers. This is a new ERA where 110 pitches is pushing it. Don't say Josh is smart for pitching with blisters.

It was stupid and it needs to be treated. If he keeps trying to act like a macho man with a cocky attitude and a career .500 record, people will laugh at him. And people will hit him hard. I'd rather win tahn see him become the next Darren Oliver because of a little problem that needs to be taken care of. He really needs to grow up and not complain and whine about everything.

read my previous post about becketts attitude.

and for the record, no one said he was smart for it. No you never said it, but it seems to me that you support him. You compared him to Schmidt and then Das Texan said players used to do it all the time. Beckett has had blisters before and the Marlins aren't going to risk losing him again.

i do support him. for being a competitor. maybe it wasnt a smart descitions but in the heat of the battle, he thought he could man it out.

We need a Lou Piniella vs. Rob Dibble type of fight from Jack and Josh... that should set him straight...

jack would kick his ass...i hope he comes back with an attitude to kick ass and win games..

Mabye Leann isn't giving him any lovin', if you catch my drift.

:D

Maybe Josh is being too much of a jerk for any lovin'.

Maybe Josh is being too much of a jerk for any lovin'. Do you think that Josh wasn't World Series MVP that a girl like Leeann would even look at him? I haven't seen much of her, but she doesn't seem much like the deer hunting type. Heh.

Well then, my deepest apologies to Leeann for doubting her motives.

Dime has been very good to this team since he had his first outing. He was solid all around but now he is maturing more and not overpowering like he used to all the time.

Beckett is the one now that needs to step up.
