We need to make a move soon. We've been treading water for the last 2-3 weeks. The Phillies aren't going to keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Fact is, we need a bat and 3 decent BP guys.

We died with our best on the mound (Benitez). It was a though loss, we can't go on the blame game but if Benitez can't close, our glorified AAA bullpen won't do it either.

 

I think Jack overmanaged again, game 4-0 on the 8, and he takes Howard to bring Overrated Perisho, WTF?. Perisho should be out there to only pitch against a lefty on key situations.

 

You can't blame Bump, he is always out there with either bases loaded, or men on scoring position. I hope it is obvious by now to Jack, that the kid doesn't well on that role. I guess Jack likes to hit the same wall over and over.

Don't hurt me please... but I think we should try Oliver to be our setup guy. I thought he should have been brought out for the 8th instead of Benitez, because we can't keep on sending Benitez out in the 8th, we need a setup guy... and Oliver could just be that. He had proven many times he is good for one inning.

2-we needed a big stop, and benitez does a great job, he just messed up on 1 pitch

Yea but Oliver is better then most or all of our bullpen besides Benitez ofcourse... and we still need a setup guy

Looks like Armando is back. He is a very fickle pitcher, he can't pitch on too many consecutive days or sit for too many consecutive days. He's been like that since he was an Oriole.

 

FYI, when he hits a hard streak he tends to press. And when he presses he tries to throw the ball 150 mph. When he does that, he can't get my mother out (much less an professoinal player). And believe me, it takes a lot to get him out of it.

Jack has no trust in Oliver, he has yet to bring him in, in a pressure situation. He will be released when Josh is activated from the DL.
