June 16, 200422 yr Albuquerque Topes lost 3-2. Michael Tejera went 7 innings giving up only 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 5 and walking 3. His ERA is now 3.45 which is stellar for the hitter friendly PCL. Pat Mahomes blew the lead by giving up 2 runs in the 9th. Keith Osik went 2-2 with a homer. (This really caught me off-guard I had no idea we signed him.) Osik is a catcher with major league experience. I think he played for the Brewers last year. Derek Wathan went 3-4. Carolina the Cats lost 8-4 Jeff Fulchino got roughed up again. He went 5 innings giving up 5 runs on 6 hits. Josh Wilson went 1-5 and hit his 8th homer of the season. Josh Willingham went 0-4 with 3 k's 3rd baseman Matt Demarco went 3-4 with a homer and a double. Jupiter (this one should cheer you guys up) Hammerheads won 4-3 Henricus Vanden Hurk went 5 scoreless innings giving up only 3 hits and 2 walks with 5 strikeouts. He's lowered his ERA to a microscopic 1.05. This guy is a stud and is definetly in the same league as Olsen and Bazardo, not to mention he's younger than those 2. Justin Wayne made an appearance which I thought was weird since he just went on the DL. He went 1 inning and gave up 3 hits but somehow managed not to give up any runs. Jeremy Hermida went 3-4 with a double and a homer, while improving his batting average to .341. Christopher Bass went 2-3 Greensboro (ugh...) The Bats lost 16-2. Need I say more?

June 16, 200422 yr Tejera is just what we need. If he gets called up, he will pitch his butt off so that we dont send him back down.
