Posted June 24, 200420 yr here we go again. It seems that Becko has got to go back to the DL with back spasms or something like that. After a short throwing session before the game he supposedly felt the same discomfort in his back that he felt in his last start. This is beyond sad ... Im begining to get annoyed by this :pullhair I guess that DO will making the start or hopefully it'll be Tejera, who will be showcasing himself for a ticket out of the team
June 24, 200420 yr My guess is Tejera will get the start. He has been doing quite well for the 'Topes. Oliver has proven more effective out of the pen.

June 24, 200420 yr I guess that DO will making the start or hopefully it'll be Tejera, who will be showcasing himself for a ticket out of the team I believe it will be Tejera, who is very "disgruntled" that he has not been brought up (brought back) sooner. And I agree that this will be a "showcasing," both for Tejera and for the FO who, IMO, are looking to move him. If he does okay this time out he may get a second chance because Beckett's timely return is not a slam-dunk. And Oliver has found his niche. And now Jack knows how to use him. Taking him out the Pen for a game or two could be disasterous.
June 24, 200420 yr Bring up Wayne. Or Phelps. I think Phelps must be hurt...remember his arm was bothering him....as he has not reported to Albuquerque yet.

June 24, 200420 yr Is there ANY chance that we can get our starting 5 healthy for the rest of the season after this?!? :mad :
June 24, 200420 yr you boy is Mike Tejerrible? i cant say that about an old team mate...the marlins dont want him so i hope gets throws a good game and gets traded to a team that needs him...
June 24, 200420 yr My vote goes to Tejera. He should be very motivated to demonstrate what he can do at the MLB level.
June 24, 200420 yr oliver was given an opportunity to start and has shown he cant start, hes doing good in the bullpen, leave him there, dont want to mess up any rhthym hes got going. give tejera the start, he deserves it, hes been shafted all year. he should have been called up a long time ago instead of some of the other bums we called up. (see : toby borland, mike neu, etc)
