for the past few days ive been getting odd IE crashes at random times while viewing this site.

is anyone else getting this, or is it just me?

i'm curious if this is a problem on my end or if it's with the site.

Hasn't happened to me on any of 3 computers I've visited the site with.

Das,

What are some alternative Windows browsers? Netscape...

What are some alternative Mac OS 8.6 browsers? I never got OS X on it, and the iBook doesn't really need it.

Safari is only OS X...do you know of a OS 8.6 version?

I'm gonna try firefox on my Dell.

Let me get the iBook awake.

Safari is only OS X...do you know of a OS 8.6 version?

I was guessing it worked on both. Nope, not offhand sorry.

Firefox is nice, I think I will try it on the Dell before installing it on the business PC, business laptop, and the other house computer.

Now I must search for my iBook.

I used iCab before and didn't really like it.

I love Mozilla Firefox. It has some real neat features.

I really need to get OS X on the iBook.

i still like opera best...but it doesnt really work well with all websites unfortunately.

firefox is damn good though.

IE is a worthless piece of garbage that constantly wants to give me pop ups and unders and all.

and tabbed browsing >> anything else.

Question....

I am using Mozilla Firefox & I have Netscape. Is it safe for me to uninstall IE? I want to uninstall it but I am afraid to.

they are completely different browsers.

i dont see why deleting IE would screw up the other two.

you cannot delete IE because it is what allows you to open windows in the operating system. It is the backbone of Windows.

if i'm not mistaken internet explorer can be delted as its not even stored in the windows directory.

of course it takes up such a paltry amount of hard drive space that you might as well keep it.

Errr..... ok so just to be safe, I won't touch IE then. Thanks.,

It happened to me 2 days ago right after I clicked add reply, IE just crashed and I got the DNS error no matter what site I tried to go to. I had to close out IE and open a new one.

Got FireFox on all the Windows desktops, the windows laptop can't have it because FireFox doesn't work with the FGCMLS we use to search for properties.

My iBook looks like it will get Camino.

Mozilla 1.0.2 is the only one of their products that works with Mac OS 8.6

so is mozilla better than IE and should I make the switch to something different, IE usually isn't that bad for me. If so how would I go about doing so

Firefox is the best alt browser for Windows IMO.

Get it here.

Thanks, I'm going to give it a try.
