June 27, 200422 yr This team doesn't play small ball anymore. Exactly. Jack is afraid to steal, Pierre doesn't get good leads, and other then him and Louie, no one else is a threat. We don't see any sac bunt or any bloop + blasts innings. We aren't playing like last year.
June 27, 200422 yr Somehow the long ball worked earlier in the season but it ain't working now! Nobody hits homers consistently in this team. Play hit and run with a contact hitter at the plate, we have a couple JP, Luis, Mikey (sometimes), Redmond, they need to do something, not only are they not hitting, there doesnt seem to be any game plan either!
